We are officially homeowners! We closed on Friday and moved Sunday. We still have a few odds and ends in our apartment, plus there is a massive amount of cleaning and painting to do there, but we're finally in our house! It's been a very overwhelming process. I can't believe I'm now responsible for this big of a purchase. All I see are dollar signs every time I think, "Oh we should really fix/replace/upgrade this" or "I'd love to decorate with this" or "I still have to buy a dining room set, blinds, and area rugs" or "A flatscreen would really work better in this space." And we haven't even seen our first mortgage bill yet!
That is so exciting! I can't wait to see photos of your projects!

ReplyDeleteMegan - I was pretty excited to see the sold sign. I asked my realtor if the seller's agent could leave it for a few days, but she took it away the next day. :(
