One oh what?

Thank goodness I have 1001 days to do these self-set goals/tasks, because I'm doing horribly so far!

It occurred to me I haven't even GLANCED at my list in four months. It made me question if I had done any unknowingly.   Imagine my shock when I discovered I had indeed completed a few!

30. Make dinner at least 3 nights a week, two weeks in a row.
36. Take lunch to work every day for two weeks.
39. Organize car trunk.
40. Clean out pile of wedding gifts.
43. Organize jewelry with a new storage system.
45. De-clutter the bedroom.
66. Buy a home.
95. Leave a 100% tip to a worthy server.
96. Throw away old makeup.
98. Pay a stranger a compliment.
99. Discover my favorite wine.

11 down, 90 to go!! (Note - I had to use my computer's calculator to figure that out. ::hangs head in shame:: I obviously should replace one of my items to "Learn 1st grade math.")

You Had Me at Merlot

This past weekend the mister and I, along with two other couples, went on our annual winery trip to the Finger Lakes in New York.  We've made the trip four years in a row, but ever since 2008 it holds another special meaning for us because we became engaged there.

Enduring thirty wineries in two days is exhausting, and I feel like I gain 20 pounds by Sunday night, but we love it! Slowly I'm growing from an Arbor Mist kind of gal into a newbie wine enthusiast.

The theme is always "Cruisin' the Tropics" -  hence the hair flowers and leis. :) Unfortunately the weather at Seneca Lake this time of year is far from tropical.

"You Better Not Be Dudes"

A few weeks ago I was all ready to write a blog chronicling one of the best weekends I ever had.

Until someone else beat me to it.  (Thanks, Casey.)

So, while it may be totally tacky of me, I'm going to link you to Casey's blog "Billtown or Bust" and you can just imagine I wrote it, but replace "Amy" with "I/me."

But hey, here are more pictures!

Love you girls!!

OOTN: Steal from the Best

My latest fashion blog obsession, Kendi Everyday, posted this darling outfit last week, and I knew immediately I wanted to replicate it. After all, Target dress? Hello! I can never ignore a sweet little floral frock from my favorite retailer.

I already had the cognac boots and mustard cardi, so after purchasing some navy tights and a different cognac belt, I was set.

Kendi's version:

My version:

Dress: Target
Belt: Rue 21
Cardigan: Target
Tights: Hue
Boots: Target

Adulthood is scary

I'm sure all of my many followers have been wondering, "Where has Amy been??? I'm just devastated to have only ONE lame OOTD this week."

I've been otherwise occupied into buying something a little more expensive than a new dress.

My husband and I just bought a house!! We're stepping into a land of DIY projects, landscaping, and the dreaded "m" word --- ::gulp::.... mortgage.

Our closing date is scheduled for April 16. Now I'll really have to find more creative ways to style clearance rack clothes!

OOTD: Pistachio + Pants

Last week when I told friends that I was wearing jeans for the second time in two months they told me, "Only you would get away with not wearing pants for months on end in the dead of winter." Yes, I hate pants that much. But this morning as I was contemplating what to wear, I remembered my friend Andi of Saltwater Dreams tell me she wanted to see me in jeans. Plus I wanted to try the cute little gray knit and crochet tank I found at TJ Maxx this weekend.

The crocheted yoke has a few studs scattered throughout.

Tank: TJ Maxx
Jeans: Mossimo Black Trouser Jeans, Target
Cardi: Target in Mint
