Weekend in the Burgh Part 2

Part 1 was last year. What, you don't remember that blog? Pssh.

Every year, the mister and I head toward Pittsburgh to visit my college bestie. And without fail upon returning the mister asks me if we can move there. The weekend was spent eating, shopping, and laughing - what more can you ask for?!

Oh, and I'm no longer an IKEA virgin!!

Bestie's Birds & Branches Baby Shower

My best friend is expecting a little baby girl in late October. Using her nursery theme of birds, I thought how perfect that theme would carry into her shower. It didn't take much online research to gather a slew of ideas for a birds and branches shower!

Hello, New Fashion Season

Ahhh, my favorite time of year. There's something so magical about early-mid September. The crispness in the air, the football frenzies, the pumpkin and apple baked goods, and best of all - fall fashion! In March I'm sick of sweaters and boots and layering up. In September, it's all I can think of. Every morning I wonder, "Is 67 just too warm to break out the knee-high boots?"

Because I'm still waiting on some recent purchases to arrive, and also because my latest OOTD shot was pretty much useless, you get stock pics of my latest goodies.

The day I debuted my Lands' End Canvas Fit and Flare dress, it went off their site. A few of you mentioned they had gone looking for it after seeing it on my blog. Well, it's back! And in the navy color too. ::debating, debating::
